R.E.A.C.T.

My training for Community Shares was very, very helpful. Participants were able to get critiqued on our current public speaking skills (gold star for me) but we were also able to try our hand at speeches we would pitch to members of the Combined Federal Campaign. We learned four very important physical skills of presenting:

1. Eye Contact
2. Voice
3. Feet and Hips (I struggle with this)
4. Gestures

We also learned the five basic components of winning over your audience. I got some very great feedback, some great speech ideas and focuses and how to present them in a timely fashion (i.e., off the stage in five minutes or less).
